Heckler & Koch VP9A1 X Tactical 9mm 4.7" 15rd Vortex Red Dot Pistol

The VP9A1 X Tactical is the suppressor and optic host in Heckler & Koch's VP9 line. The 4.7" hammer forged barrel is threaded at the muzzle, and the tall suppressor height sights sit high enough to give a lower third co witness through a red dot window while staying visible over the top of most cans. The slide is cut for optics and uses HK's adapter plate system, so common footprints mount without milling. A Vortex red dot comes fitted from the factory, so the pistol only needs a zero before it goes to work.

Under the optic it is still a VP9. Charging supports at the rear of the slide give a real grip surface for racking with cold or wet hands. Interchangeable backstraps and side panels let a shooter build the grip circumference to their hand rather than living with a compromise, and the grip angle points naturally for most people. The A1 revision reworked the trigger, the controls and the grip frame. The frame is polymer with a Picatinny rail molded ahead of the trigger guard, and the magazine release is HK's ambidextrous paddle at the rear of the guard instead of a button, so the gun runs the same for a left hand shooter. Two 15rd magazines are included.
