Heckler & Koch VP9A1 F 9mm 4.53" 10rd Holosun SCS CA Compliant Pistol

The VP9A1 F is the full size version of HK's updated VP9, and this configuration comes with a Holosun SCS enclosed red dot already sitting in the optics cut. The SCS mounts low and runs on solar power with a battery backup, so there is no lens cap to lift and no battery door to open on the firing line. Barrel length is 4.53" with polygonal rifling, and the slide carries serrations plus HK's charging supports at the rear.

The A1 revisions all point at the interface between the shooter and the gun. The trigger has a shorter and cleaner reset than the original VP9. The grip frame was reworked and still uses the interchangeable backstrap and side panel system, which lets a shooter build the grip to their hand instead of the other way around. The VP9's reputation for helping people shoot better scores comes largely from that fit. The magazine release is HK's ambidextrous paddle at the rear of the trigger guard and the slide release is doubled, so a left hand shooter runs the pistol without adapting anything. A Picatinny rail sits under the dust cover for a light. This variant holds 10 rounds and meets California magazine capacity limits.
