You see a 3v blade this big and thick is very, very expensive to make. Just the steel alone costs a fortune mot to mention the laser cutting machine, heat treating, polishing and hand sharpening. But the results I think are well worth it. While undeniably expensive, this knife will out perform just about any kukri or knife you can name for that matter, especially when you compare price.
