Guntec USA AR-15 Extended Takedown Pin Set

Both pins in one set: front pivot and rear takedown, each with a knurled knob machined onto the end. Pop the knobs with a thumbnail and the upper hinges open without hunting for a punch, a bullet tip, or the corner of a magazine floorplate. It is a small change that pays off every time the rifle gets cleaned or a barrel gets swapped.

The set fits standard AR-15 and 5.56 pattern receivers and reuses the detents and springs already in the lower, so nothing else has to come apart to install it. The knobs sit close enough to the receiver that they do not snag on a case or a sling, and there is nothing proprietary about the fit.
