The Sportsman Ultra Light HD .300 is Griffin Armament's 30 caliber hunting can. It is built entirely from heat treated stainless steel with their tubeless laser welded construction, which gets the weight near titanium while being far stronger than the aluminum hunting cans that came before it.

HD stands for high durability, and what it buys is the removal of firing restrictions: no cool down schedule partway through a long zeroing session or a hard day of field conditions. The ECO-FLOW baffle design is patented and does double duty, reducing toxic gas exposure and improving function on gas operated platforms. The rear uses the industry standard 1.375x24 HUB thread, so mounting hardware is not locked to one system and the can can follow a shooter's existing mounts. The finish is Flat Dark Earth. For a 30 caliber can that lives on a hunting rifle, low weight without a heat limit is the combination that matters.
