Grayboe M5 Floor Plate Bottom Metal Short Action

Not every rifle needs a detachable magazine. The M5 Floor Plate gives a short action Remington 700 a clean hinged bottom metal in the M5 footprint, so a stock already cut for M5 can run an internal box magazine instead of a detachable one.

Machined from billet aluminum with a matte black finish. A flush, snag free release lever sits inside the rounded trigger guard and the hatch drops open to unload without cycling live rounds through the chamber. New action screws are included, and you reuse the BDL magazine box, follower and spring out of your current rifle. It only fits stocks inlet for M5 bottom metal, so a BDL cut stock is out.
