The Ruger Glenfield Model A in 350 Legend puts a full length 20" threaded barrel in a working hunter's package at a working hunter's price. The moss green splatter synthetic stock keeps grip positive without being harsh, and the soft rubber buttpad takes the edge off recoil during sighting in or a long stand. The barrel is threaded 1/2-28 with a factory installed thread protector, so it runs bare or takes a brake or suppressor without any gunsmithing.
Feeding is through a flush fit AR style magazine holding 5 rounds of 350 Legend — a legal straight wall cartridge for many Midwestern deer states. The adjustable trigger breaks between 3 and 5 pounds to the user's preference. A one piece three lug bolt with 70 degree throw gives ample scope clearance, and a tang safety sits right under the thumb for fast on and off. The Power Bedding integral block locks the receiver in place and free floats the barrel. A one piece Picatinny scope base is installed from the factory, so your scope mounts up clean.
