GG&G M1A Scout Squad SOCOM 16 Picatinny Scope Mount

The GG&G M1A Scout scope mount is made for the Springfield Armory M1A Scout Squad and SOCOM 16 with the cutout factory upper handguard. It replaces the factory mount, installs in that cutout with no modification, and clamps to the barrel with 8 screws instead of the factory 6. You get 7 inches of MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rail for a red dot or a long eye relief scout scope.

It does not fit a standard M1A, an M1A National Match or non Springfield Armory rifles. A large channel through the rail keeps the factory iron sights usable with the optic in place. Billet aluminum, hard coat anodized matte black, 6.8 oz.
