GForce Arms GF1 Refuge Compact 20 GA 24" 4rd Bronze Shotgun

The GF1 Refuge Compact is a 20 gauge autoloader on GForce Arms' shorter frame, and the compact designation is about fit rather than capability. A 24" barrel keeps the muzzle quick between the hands in thick cover, and the shortened stock suits younger shooters, smaller framed adults, and anyone who has found a full size shotgun too long across the shoulders once a heavy coat goes on. The gas system soaks up recoil, which matters more on a light gun than a heavy one.

Cosmetically this is a departure from black synthetic. The receiver carries a bronze finish set against wood furniture, closer to a traditional field gun than most imports in this part of the rack. The magazine tube holds 4rd. A 20 gauge does nearly everything a 12 will do inside sensible shotgun distance while asking far less of the shooter's shoulder, which is why upland hunters, youth shooters, and recoil sensitive adults keep coming back to the gauge.
