Fletcher Rifle Works Texas Flood 30 Cal Vented End Cap

This is the 30 cal bore version of the vented cap for the Texas Flood and OCL Infinity. Venting the outer annulus lets the can dump gas faster, which pulls back pressure down at the muzzle. On a gas gun that shows up as less gas in the shooter's face, a cooler bolt carrier and fewer tuning headaches over a long string.

It gets louder in exchange. The vented cap raises the sound signature next to the solid cap, which is a fair trade for a high volume rifle and a poor one for a suppressor build chasing every decibel. The 30 cal bore covers 308 Win, 300 BLK, 30-06 and the rest of the 30 cal family.
