Fiocchi Golden Dove 12 GA 2.75" 1-1/5oz #6 & #8 25rd Box

Golden Dove is Fiocchi's dove field shell, and this one runs a mixed payload: 1-1/5oz of lead shot combining #6 and #8 pellets in a 2.75" 12 gauge hull. Two pellet sizes in one shell is an old idea - the smaller shot fills out the pattern while the larger pellets carry more weight per pellet.

At 1-1/5oz this is a heavy charge for a 2.75" dove shell, so there is more shot in the air per shot fired than a lighter field load puts up. It comes 25rd to the box, the usual field carton, and any 12 gauge chambered for 2.75" or longer will shoot it.
