Fierce Firearms Carbon Rival XP 2.0 6.5 CM 20" Bronze Rifle

Fierce spiral flutes both the barrel and the bolt on the Carbon Rival XP 2.0, and on this 20 inch 6.5 Creedmoor the result handles like a much smaller rifle. The barrel is held to match grade tolerances and the metal is finished in smoked bronze, a warmer look than the usual black hunting gun, and the carbon fiber stock keeps the weight honest for a rifle with this much barrel work in it.

6.5 Creedmoor is still the easiest centerfire to learn to shoot well at distance. Recoil is mild, the cartridge was drawn around long bullets from the beginning, and ammunition choice is enormous. The XP 2.0 adds an adjustable comb so the shooter indexes the same way on every shot, a dropbox magazine, and a TriggerTech Primary ProCurve trigger that can be tuned without taking the rifle apart. Scope bases go straight onto the drilled and tapped receiver, and flush cup mounts in the stock accept a QD sling. Bolt lift is short and the fluted body sheds debris after a few days in the field.
