Fierce Firearms Carbon Rival XP 2.0 308 Win 18" Tungsten Rifle

An 18 inch 308 Win is a short rifle with a long resume. The shorter barrel costs a little velocity and buys back handling in timber, from a blind, or across a truck seat, and 308 was never a cartridge that needed a long tube to do its job. The Carbon Rival XP 2.0 puts that barrel on a carbon fiber stock with an adjustable comb and finishes the metal in tungsten.

The barrel is held to match grade tolerances, and the bolt body is spiral fluted to lighten the lift. The TriggerTech Primary ProCurve trigger adjusts externally, so changing the pull weight is a screwdriver job instead of a teardown. A dropbox magazine handles feeding and comes out clean. The receiver is drilled and tapped for a scope base, and the stock carries QD flush cup mounts for a sling. For a short action hunting rifle that also prints small groups on paper, this is a lot of capability in a compact package.
