Federal Personal Defense Punch 22 LR 29gr FN 50rd Box

Punch was Federal's answer to anyone who carries a 22 pistol. Instead of a hollow point that opens and stops short, it uses a 29gr nickel plated lead core flat nose bullet driven hard to reach critical penetration depth from short barrel handguns. Federal lists 1070 fps from a 2" barrel and 1650 fps from a 24" rifle, with a nominal 1080 fps.

The nickel plated case extracts easily and resists corrosion in a carry gun. Federal puts it through stringent function testing. For a backup pistol, a rimfire for someone who struggles with centerfire recoil, or a 22 kept by the bed, this is a load built for defense rather than plinking. 50rd box.
