Faxon Firearms Pro 6mm ARC 12.5" 10rd SBA3 Brace Pistol

Faxon's Pro line sits above their Sport series, and this build is a 6mm ARC pistol wearing a 12.5" match grade Gunner profile barrel. Six millimeter ARC in a short barrel is a deliberate choice. The cartridge was built to push long, heavy bullets out of an AR-15 sized action, and it carries energy downrange better than 5.56 even when you give up barrel length. Faxon runs a pistol length gas system here so port pressure matches the barrel, which is what keeps the gun cycling both supersonic and subsonic loads without a fight.

The barrel is nitride treated inside and out, a wear and corrosion treatment rather than a cosmetic one, and it comes threaded. Around it sits an M-LOK handguard on an aluminum receiver set with a full length Picatinny top rail. An SB Tactical SBA3 brace and an ergonomic grip finish the build, and a 10 round magazine comes with the gun. This leans more toward a hunting and utility platform than a range toy. In a truck, a side by side, or strapped to a pack, a 12.5" 6mm ARC gives you a cartridge that will take deer and hogs cleanly well past where most people have any business shooting a short barreled AR.
