Faxon Firearms Pro 22 ARC 16" 10rd Rifle

22 ARC gives shooters 6mm ARC case capacity behind a lighter, faster .224 bullet, and Faxon built the Pro rifle to get everything out of it. The centerpiece is a 16" Match Series Gunner profile barrel tuned around Faxon's adjustable gas block, so the rifle can be dialed in for a suppressor or run open without beating itself up. The bolt carrier group is superfinished, which cuts friction inside the action and gives carbon less to cling to between cleanings.

The rest of the build reads like a parts list people usually assemble themselves. A 15" Streamline aluminum M-LOK handguard runs almost to the muzzle and leaves the full length free for a light, a bipod, or a hand stop. The upper carries a continuous Picatinny rail for optics and back up irons. B5 Systems supplies the Bravo stock and the grip, both of which hold up to hard use better than the furniture found on entry level carbines. The muzzle device works with the Plan B mounting system for suppressor owners. A 10 round magazine feeds it. For varmints, predators, and steel targets well past 500 yards, this is an AR-15 put together with a purpose.
