The EOTech HHS VIII is a two piece package: an EXPS3-0 holographic sight with the G33 3x magnifier behind it. The EXPS3-0 projects a red 68 MOA ring with a 1 MOA center dot. The large ring is easy to find with both eyes open when speed matters, and the 1 MOA dot is small enough to hold a precise aiming point when it does not. Side mounted buttons keep the controls reachable with a magnifier sitting directly behind the sight.
The sight is night vision compatible, so it works alongside a night vision device rather than washing out behind one. The G33 adds 3x when a target needs identifying at distance. The package uses a quick disconnect mount, which comes off a rail without tools, and the finish is matte black.
