The DNT Optics Hydra HS335 runs a 25mm objective lens with a 3 to 12 power magnification range. Wide at the bottom end for picking up movement and getting oriented, tight at the top for sorting out what you are looking at once you have found it. That four times span is the practical working range for most shooters after dark, where the ground you can cover is limited by the light rather than by the glass.
