The Del-Ton RKT100 Heavy Carbine Rifle Kit delivers a precision-ready build option in 5.56x45mm NATO with a 16" M4 profile chrome moly vanadium barrel, engineered for reliability and performance in the field or range. This kit pairs a forged 7075-T6 aluminum receiver finished in a deep black hard coat with a Mil-Spec upper, featuring M4 feed ramps, a right-hand ejection, and a hard coat anodized surface, while the included A2 flash hider provides classic balance and controllable muzzle breakout. The barrel is 16" with a 1x9 twist, manganese phosphated and phosphated under the front sight base, with M4 feed ramps and a threaded muzzle to accommodate a variety of end accessories, ensuring smooth cycling under a range of 5.56 loads. The bolt and carrier assembly uses a phosphated 8620 steel carrier with a Carpenter 158 bolt that is HPT/MPI tested, chrome lined interior, and properly staked gas key for long-term durability in demanding conditions. The handguards are carbine length with an aluminum delta ring and single heat shield, and the buttstock features a 5-position M4 adjustable configuration with a reinforced fiber tube, H-buffer, and spring for consistent recoil management.
