About the Dead Air KeyMo GOV
The KeyMo GOV Flash Hider is the muzzle end of Dead Air's KeyMo mounting system. On a bare barrel it cuts flash. With a KeyMo pattern can on the gun it becomes the lockup surface, and the machining is held tight enough that the suppressor returns to the same place every time it goes back on.
Used with the KeyMo GOV HUB adapter, the system picks up a mechanical secondary retention feature on top of the normal quick detach hold. Threads are 1/2-28 with a 6mm bore sized for 5.56 and 223 barrels. The body is stainless steel under a black nitride coating, 2.70 inches long and 4.08 ounces, which is what it takes to live at the muzzle of a hard use carbine.
