CVA Cascade XT 7mm PRC 24" 2rd Bronze Mossy Oak Bottomland Rifle

7mm PRC has taken over a lot of the ground that used to belong to the 7mm Remington Magnum, and the Cascade XT is a sensible place to put it. The barrel is a medium contour Bergara, fluted, threaded and 24" long, which is the length this cartridge wants to reach the velocities it was built around. A radial muzzle brake cuts the recoil down to something you can shoot a full box through, and both the barrel and the receiver wear midnight bronze Cerakote.

CVA gave the XT the parts hunters end up buying anyway. The bolt knob is oversized for gloved hands, the comb adjusts so your eye lines up with a large scope instead of hunting for the reticle, and the receiver is drilled and tapped with a 20 MOA Picatinny rail already mounted. The stock wears Mossy Oak Bottomland, which disappears against dark timber and wet ground. The detachable box magazine holds two rounds. It weighs what a hunting rifle should weigh and shoots like something built for a bench, which is not a common combination.
