CVA Cascade SR 7mm PRC 20" 3rd Realtree Rifle

The Cascade SR exists for one reason: hunting with a suppressor mounted. Thread a can onto a 24" hunting rifle and you end up with something you cannot swing inside a blind, so CVA cut the Bergara barrel to 20" and threaded the muzzle at the factory. With a suppressor attached the overall length lands about where a conventional rifle sits bare, and that is the difference between a rifle you can actually use in a tight stand and one that stays in the truck.

Chambering is 7mm PRC, which is a lot of cartridge for a 20" barrel but still runs efficiently and reaches well past any distance a whitetail hunter needs. The magazine holds 3 rounds. The barreled action wears graphite black Cerakote, the receiver is topped with a picatinny rail so glass mounts without extra parts, and the synthetic stock comes in a Realtree pattern over black. This is a specialized rifle rather than a general one. If you hunt suppressed, or you hunt from blinds, saddles and tight timber where a long barrel becomes a liability, it makes more sense than a standard hunting rifle does.
