Comstock Armory Full Size Muzzle Brake 30 Cal 5/8-24

This is the full size Comstock brake, threaded 5/8-24 for 30 caliber barrels. It cuts recoil the way a good brake should, but the reason most people buy it is the nose: it accepts .900x24 adapters, so a Plan-B, Comstock LPA or Rearden Atlas suppressor goes straight on with no separate mount to buy.

Running a can on the brake also means the brake takes the beating instead of the first baffle in the suppressor. It is rotationally symmetric, so there is no timing, no shims and no crush washer math at install. Stainless steel with a black nitride finish, 2 inches long, 1.8 ounces, with 13/16 wrench flats.
