The body rolls inside its bracket to point the beam where you are actually looking, and it pops out of the bracket entirely to work as a handheld with a magnetic tail cap that sticks to a hood or a tailgate. Power comes from the included ZITHION-X rechargeable pack, charged over USB-C, and a pair of CR123A cells will run it if the pack is dead.
