The 30 caliber Cobra covers 308 Winchester, 30-06, 300 BLK, 7.62x39mm and anything else riding a 30 caliber bore. It is a pull through: a weighted line goes in at the chamber, a bronze brush and a woven cotton braid follow, and the whole assembly comes out the muzzle carrying the carbon and fouling with it.

Cleaning from the chamber end keeps a rod out of the crown, which matters on a rifle you actually shoot for groups. It rolls up small enough to live in a pack or a truck box, and it washes out and dries for the next trip instead of being thrown away. Use it with a bore solvent when the barrel is dirty, or run it as is for a quick wipe at the end of a session.
