Christensen Arms Ridgeline Safari Plains Game 7mm PRC 22" Rifle

The Ridgeline Safari puts Christensen's carbon wrapped barrel and machined stainless action into a European walnut stock, a deliberate break from the carbon and camo the rest of the line wears. Walnut adds mass exactly where a magnum rifle wants it, and the stock keeps the classic lines a safari rifle is supposed to have while still sitting well behind a modern scope. Integrated front and rear QD mounts take a sling without studs, and a Picatinny section on the forend accepts a bipod or a tripod clamp.

7mm PRC is the modern rework of the 7mm Remington Magnum idea, pushing long heavy bullets at magnum speed from a 22 inch barrel instead of demanding a 26 inch tube to get there. The barrel is free floating and hand lapped under its aero grade carbon fiber wrap, and a radial muzzle brake takes enough sting out of the recoil that you can stay in the scope and see the animal react. The TriggerTech trigger breaks clean, the receiver is black nitride stainless steel, drilled and tapped, and it takes standard Remington 700 optics bases, so mounting glass is a solved problem rather than a project. Match grade barrel, walnut furniture and a threaded muzzle in one package.
