Christensen Arms MPR 25 Creedmoor 20" Brown Rifle

25 Creedmoor is the newest member of the Creedmoor family, and Christensen chambers it here in the Modern Precision Rifle with a 20" carbon fiber barrel and a brown chassis. The quarter bore sits between the 22 and the 6.5 in bullet weight, and modern .257 match bullets are the reason the cartridge exists at all. For decades the quarter bores had nothing but hunting bullets to shoot, which kept them out of matches no matter how well they shot.

The rifle underneath the chambering is the same MPR that shooters buy for match work. The chassis is aluminum, folds for transport, and adjusts for comb height and length of pull. A full length M-LOK handguard runs over a free float barrel, so a bipod, a barricade stop, and a bag rider can all live on the rifle at once. The receiver wears a 20 MOA rail for dialing at distance, and a TriggerTech trigger sets the break. The bolt handle is skeletonized with an oversized knob that a gloved hand can find without looking. At 20" the barrel keeps the rifle short enough to carry and still lets a 25 Creedmoor load do what it was built to do out past 800 yards.
