Christensen Arms Evoke and Remington 700 One Piece Scope Base 20 MOA

Twenty MOA of built in slope in a scope base buys back turret travel. Instead of running out of elevation at the top of the dial, the base starts the scope pointed slightly down so the usable range of the turret goes toward distance instead of being spent getting to zero. On a rifle that gets shot far, that is the difference between dialing a firing solution and holding over and hoping.

Christensen Arms machines this base in one piece from aluminum with a black anodized finish, and it weighs 2.5 ounces. It uses 8-40 screws, and the Remington 700 side of the fitment applies to standard long action receivers already set up for that screw size.
