Charles Daly 101 28 GA 26" Walnut Shotgun

The Charles Daly 101 is a simple single shot break open shotgun, and this version pairs a 28 gauge barrel with a checkered walnut stock and forend. The 26" barrel is chambered for 3" shells and threaded for Beretta/Benelli Mobil pattern choke tubes, and a Modified choke and choke wrench come with the gun. A brass bead front sight sits on the black barrel.

The 28 gauge throws a light payload with mild recoil, which makes this 101 a natural first shotgun for a young or smaller shooter and a light gun to carry after doves, quail and squirrels. Loading one shell at a time teaches deliberate, safe gun handling from the start, and the single barrel keeps the gun slim and easy to point. A manual safety, a single stage trigger, a recoil pad and sling studs round out the features. Because it takes common Mobil pattern chokes, you can open it up for close flushing birds or tighten it for longer shots. The checkered walnut gives the 101 a traditional look, and at 41.75" overall it is handy in the field and easy to store.
