Cadex CDX-SS Seven S.T.A.R.S. Covert Compact 308 Win 16.5" 10rd Tan Rifle

The Covert Compact version of Cadex's CDX-SS Seven S.T.A.R.S. shrinks a serious precision rifle down to a 16.5" barrel in 308 Winchester — a length that gives up some velocity but pays it back in handling, packability, and suppressor friendliness. The barrel is fluted, finished in black DLC, and threaded at the muzzle, which is an open invitation to run it suppressed; a can on a 16.5" 308 still makes for a shorter package than most unsuppressed precision rifles. Capacity is 10rds from a detachable magazine.

The receiver and chassis wear hybrid tan Cerakote over Cadex's machined aluminum construction, with a Picatinny rail on top and an M-LOK handguard for lights, rangefinders, or a bipod rail. Cadex cut its teeth building chassis for military and police marksmen, and the rigidity that reputation was built on carries into the complete rifles.
