Bushnell R7 2-10x42mm Fiber MOA Riflescope

Two to ten power with a 42mm objective is the range that has been putting deer on the ground for decades, and the R7 2-10x42mm is a modern take on it. Two power is wide enough for a close shot in heavy cover where a higher magnification scope leaves you hunting for the animal in the glass. Ten power handles the open country shot at the far end of what most hunters take.

The 42mm objective is the sensible middle ground. It gathers enough light for early and late shooting without forcing tall rings that push the scope away from the stock. The fiber MOA reticle sits in the second focal plane, so the holds stay the same size regardless of power setting. Finish is matte black.
