Browning X-Bolt 2 Speed SPR 6.5 PRC 20" 3rd Mossy Oak Bottomland Rifle

Browning built the X-Bolt 2 Speed SPR for hunters who want a short rifle that still reaches out. The 20" barrel is a sporter contour with fluting cut into it, which pulls weight out of the middle of the gun and gives it more surface to shed heat. It is threaded at the muzzle and comes with a radial muzzle brake fitted, plus a thread protector in the box if you would rather run it bare. The barreled action wears a Smoked Bronze Cerakote finish and the steel receiver is drilled and tapped, so mounting rings or a rail is a five minute job.

The stock is where this rifle earns its money. Browning's Vari-Tech composite stock adjusts for length of pull, comb height and grip angle, which means the rifle gets fitted to you instead of the other way around. That matters more than people think once you are shooting off a pack or a shooting stick at an odd angle. It is finished in Mossy Oak Bottomland, the dark bark and mud pattern that works in timber and out of a blind. Chambered in 6.5 PRC and fed by a 3 round magazine, it puts a lot of reach into a rifle short enough to carry all day.
