Browning X-Bolt 2 Speed SPR CF 6.5 PRC 20" 3rd OVIX Rifle

The X-Bolt 2 Speed SPR Carbon Fiber takes Browning's Speed hunting rifle and cuts the barrel 4 inches shorter than standard so the rifle stays manageable with a suppressor on the end. In 6.5 PRC that means a 20 inch stainless barrel wrapped in carbon fiber, threaded 5/8-24 at the muzzle and fitted with a Recoil Hawg muzzle brake. Pull the brake and thread on a can, or leave it on to tame recoil on long days behind the glass. The action is bedded and the barrel is free floated.

The Vari-Tech composite stock is where this rifle earns its keep. Length of pull and comb height both adjust, and the sporter and vertical grips swap out so you can set it up for a field hunt or a steadier prone position. The stock wears OVIX camo with black overmolded gripping surfaces, and the metal carries a Cerakote finish. Browning's X-Lock scope mounting uses four screws per base, the DLX trigger adjusts, and the top tang safety sits right under your thumb. It is a short action gun weighing about 6 lbs 14 oz with a 3 round magazine, light enough to carry up a mountain and flat shooting enough to use the reach of the 6.5 PRC.
