Browning X-Bolt 2 Speed 6.5 PRC 24" 3rd Mossy Oak Bottomland Rifle

Browning's X-Bolt 2 Speed in 6.5 PRC uses a 24 inch fluted sporter barrel, which is the length that lets the cartridge do what it was designed to do. The muzzle is threaded and wears a radial brake, and a thread protector comes along for anyone swapping to a suppressor. Steel work is finished in Smoked Bronze, and the receiver is drilled and tapped so scope bases go on without extra machining.

The Vari-Tech composite stock is adjustable in the three places that actually change how a rifle fits: length of pull, comb height and grip angle. Getting the comb right is what keeps a shooter's cheek in the same spot shot after shot, and that consistency shows up on paper long before it shows up in the field. This rifle carries the Mossy Oak Bottomland pattern, an old school bottom hardwoods camo that still works better than most of what replaced it. The magazine holds 3 rounds of 6.5 PRC, which is the standard count for the cartridge and enough for the deliberate shooting this rifle rewards.
