The Browning X-Bolt 2 Max Long Range Sporter in 300 Winchester Magnum is the portable magnum in the Max LR line: a 22" threaded sporter barrel, the new X-Bolt 2 action, and an olive drab green Cerakote finish over a composite Max stock with adjustable comb. 300 Win Mag through a 22" barrel gives up a little velocity versus a 26" barrel but gains real-world handling on mountain hunts where length and weight matter. 5/8-24 muzzle threads accept a brake or suppressor for load development and hearing protection.
The X-Bolt 2 action brings the familiar 60-degree bolt lift, detachable rotary magazine, top-tang safety, and a refined trigger with a cleaner break. ODG Cerakote blends into timber better than flat black and handles weather well. This is a serious Western elk and bear rifle that stays manageable on long pack-ins.
