The Browning X-Bolt 2 Composite Special in 7mm PRC is built to get the most out of one of the best-balanced magnum cartridges on the market. The 24" sporter-contour barrel wears ODG Cerakote and is threaded 5/8-24 for a brake or suppressor. The composite Special stock carries an adjustable comb so heads-up scope alignment is automatic, and the X-Bolt 2 action smooths out the bolt stroke and crisps up the trigger versus the original X-Bolt.

7mm PRC sits between 6.5 PRC and 300 PRC, giving high-BC 175- to 180-grain bullets the velocity to stay supersonic past 1,500 yards. That makes this rifle a legitimate Western elk and mule deer rig and an honest long-range trainer. The detachable rotary magazine, 60-degree bolt lift, and top-tang safety round out a proven Browning feature set on a new action.
