About the Browning Citori 825 Field
The Citori 825 Field brings Browning's updated over and under styling down into the small gauges, and this one is a 410 Bore on 26 inch barrels. The receiver is low profile steel, engraved with a game scene and finished in silver nitride, which Browning uses for durability rather than show. Barrels are gloss blued with a vent rib and an ivory bead up front, chambered 3 inches, and three choke tubes come with the gun.
The stock is Grade II/III American walnut in a gloss oil finish with a palm swell, fixed rather than adjustable, and an Inflex II recoil pad sits on the back of it. Capacity is 2 rounds, one per barrel. Browning builds the 825 Field for hunting and for the range both, and the small gauge versions are the newer part of that line: the same low profile frame, the same updated styling and engraving, scaled down to 410 Bore. On 26 inch barrels with an ivory bead and a walnut stock it reads as a field gun first, and the silver nitride receiver finish is there to survive the weather that comes with that.
