Browning Citori 825 Feather 12 GA 28" Walnut Shotgun

The Citori 825 Feather is Browning's light version of the upland gun. The receiver is aluminum alloy with a steel breech face and a steel hinge pin, so the weight comes out of the middle of the gun while the wear surfaces that take the beating on a break open action stay steel. That receiver wears a silver nitride finish with high relief game scene engraving and a gold plated feather logo, set against gloss blued 28 inch barrels and a gloss oil finished Grade II/III American walnut stock.

Chambers are cut for 3 inch shells and the Invector-DS flush choke system comes with three tubes, so the gun can be set close for birds flushing underfoot or opened up for longer crossing shots. The Fire-Lite 2 trigger keeps travel short, an ivory bead sits at the muzzle of the vent rib, and an Inflex II pad soaks up what recoil a 12 gauge over under produces. The stock is a fixed right hand pattern. Carrying a gun all day through cover is where the alloy receiver earns its keep, and it is the whole reason the Feather exists alongside the standard steel receiver Citori.
