Browning AB3 Pro Hunter Deluxe 300 Win Mag 26" 3rd Maple Rifle

This is the long barreled magnum of the Pro Hunter Deluxe line. Browning gives the 300 Win Mag a 26" tube rather than the 22" used on the standard chamberings, which lets the powder column finish burning and squeezes real velocity out of the case instead of dumping it as muzzle flash. That extra length also shifts the balance forward, which steadies the rifle when you are shooting off a pack across a canyon.

Everything else follows the Deluxe pattern. The stock is satin finish light maple with a dark maple cap at the front and checkering cut into the grip and forearm, and the metal is matte blued with spiral flutes on both the barrel and the bolt body. The muzzle is threaded and carries a radial brake, which on a 300 magnum earns its keep in a hurry. Controls are a top tang safety and a bolt lock override button that lets you unload with the safety on, plus an oversized hex bolt knob. Three rounds ride in the magazine, an Inflex recoil pad handles the rest, and the steel receiver is drilled and tapped so a scope goes straight on.
