Browning AB3 Pro Hunter 300 Win Mag 26" 3rd Walnut Rifle

Magnum cartridges want barrel length, and this is the AB3 Pro Hunter built to give it to them. A 26" tube lets 300 Win Mag burn its powder charge instead of dumping half of it out the front as blast, and the spiral flutes take back some of the weight that comes with a barrel that long. The finish is a non reflective matte blue across barrel and receiver, and the muzzle is threaded with a protector in place for anyone running a brake or a suppressor.

The stock is Grade I American walnut in a satin finish with enhanced checkering, which is more rifle to look at than the molded stocks sitting next to it on the rack. Browning's Inflex pad earns its keep on this chambering, because 300 Win Mag will remind a shooter what it is doing by the end of a long session at the bench. The top tang safety sits under the thumb, the bolt lock override lets the rifle be unloaded with the safety still on, and the teardrop bolt knob clears a low mounted scope. The magazine is a detachable box holding 3rd and the receiver comes drilled and tapped for bases.
