Browning AB3 Pro Hunter 270 Win 22" 4rd Dark Maple Rifle

Browning built the AB3 as the working man's A-Bolt, and the Pro Hunter is the version that looks the part. The stock is AAA grade dark maple with a satin finish and enhanced checkering, a real departure from the gray synthetic that dominates the rack. Under it sits the same action that has carried the A-Bolt name for decades: a free floating barrel, a top tang safety that falls under the thumb, and a bolt lock override button so the action can be cycled with the safety on.

The 22" sporter contour barrel is spiral fluted and wears a non reflective matte blued finish, and the bolt body is fluted to match. The muzzle is threaded and comes with a thread protector, so a brake or a can goes on without a trip to the gunsmith. The receiver is matte blued steel, drilled and tapped for bases. A two piece bolt handle with a teardrop knob gives the hand more to grab than a standard round knob, and the Inflex recoil pad steers recoil down and away from the cheek, which matters more in the field than on the bench.
