Browning AB3 Pro Composite 6.5 CM 22" 4rd Gray/Green Rifle

The AB3 has always been the Browning you buy when you want an A-Bolt without paying for an X-Bolt, and the Pro Composite is the version that finally looks the part. The barrel is spiral fluted sporter contour, the bolt body is spiral fluted to match, and the whole rifle wears a non reflective matte blued finish. In 6.5 Creedmoor with a 22" barrel it holds 4 rounds in a detachable box magazine.

6.5 Creedmoor earns its reputation on a rifle like this. Recoil is mild enough to spot your own hits, factory ammo is on every shelf, and it takes deer and antelope well past where most hunters shoot. The muzzle is threaded and a thread protector comes with the rifle, so a brake or a can goes on without a trip to a gunsmith. The stock is a weather resistant composite in gray and green with an Inflex recoil pad, the receiver is drilled and tapped for bases, and the top tang safety falls under the thumb. Browning also fitted a bolt lock override button, so the action can be cycled with the safety on. The two piece bolt handle ends in a teardrop knob that is easier to find in a hurry than the old round style.
