Browning AB3 Pro Composite 300 Win Mag 26" 3rd Gray/Green Rifle

300 Winchester Magnum out of a 26" barrel is about as much reach as a standard length action will give you. The AB3 Pro Composite is set up for it with a spiral fluted sporter barrel, a 3 round detachable box magazine, and an Inflex recoil pad that pushes recoil down and away from the face instead of straight into it. That last part is not a small detail on a rifle chambered for this cartridge.

The rest of the package matches the other Pro Composite rifles. The bolt body is spiral fluted, the metalwork is matte blued and non reflective, and the composite stock comes in gray and green and does not care about weather. The muzzle is threaded and a thread protector is included, so a brake can go on for range work and come back off for the hunt. The receiver is drilled and tapped, the safety is on the top tang under the thumb, and the bolt lock override button allows the action to be cycled with the safety engaged. The two piece bolt handle ends in a teardrop knob. For elk at distance, or anything else that needs a big bullet sent a long way, this is a straightforward tool.
