Browning 1911-22 Black Label Medallion 250 Compact 22 LR 3.63" 10rd Pistol

This is the short frame version of Browning's rimfire 1911, already built at eighty five percent of the original dimensions and then trimmed again at the muzzle to a 3.63" barrel. What comes out is small and light and still runs a genuine 1911 manual of arms, which makes it useful for teaching the platform to somebody new or for keeping the motions sharp without burning centerfire ammunition. The composite frame rides on a machined subframe and slide rails, and an extended beavertail keeps the hammer clear of the web of the hand.

The Medallion 250 treatment is what marks this run. The grips are rosewood colored with a laser engraved flag design and the words 250 Years of Freedom. The slide is finished dark with brushed silver flats along the sides, and steel three dot sights sit on top of it. A skeletonized hammer and trigger come standard, the magazine holds 10rd, and a pistol rug is included. A commemorative gun that somebody will actually carry to the range beats one that sits in a drawer for thirty years.
