Browning 1911-22 Black Label Medallion 250 22 LR 4.25" 10rd Pistol

Browning's 1911-22 is John Browning's original design scaled to eighty five percent and chambered in rimfire, and it handles like the centerfire gun it copies. Thumb safety, slide stop, magazine release and grip safety all sit where a 1911 shooter's hands already go, so time spent on this one carries straight over to a full size gun. The difference shows up at the muzzle, since a 22 lets somebody run drills all afternoon without building a flinch.

The Medallion 250 is the commemorative version, with wood grips engraved to mark the country's two hundred and fiftieth year. The frame is composite over a machined subframe and slide rails, and the slide is anodized alloy with polished flats along the sides. Three dot sights, a skeletonized hammer and trigger and an extended beavertail grip safety round out the build. This is the full size frame with a 4.25" barrel and a 10rd magazine, and a pistol rug comes in the box. It is the sort of gun that gets bought for a shelf and then shot every weekend anyway.
