Smith & Wesson Puts a Holiday Rebate on the M&P FPC 22
by Shooting Surplus

What happened
On October 26, 2026, The Firearm Blog reported that Smith & Wesson has launched an M&P FPC 22 Holiday Rebate. Buy any new eligible M&P FPC 22 rifle between October 16 and December 31, 2026 and Smith & Wesson sends you a prepaid card after the sale.
The Smith & Wesson release quoted in the story says the promotion covers three versions of the rifle: the standard 20 round model, the 10 round compliant model, and a bundle that adds a CTS red/green optic, a carrying bag and extra magazines. TFB's take is that the deal gives buyers a reason to act now, since "the rebate is locked in for the next few weeks."
That lines up with the terms Smith & Wesson posted. The amount, the claim deadline and the full fine print are on our Smith & Wesson M&P FPC 22 rebate page.
The rifle behind the rebate
TFB spends most of the story on the gun itself, and that is the useful part if you have not handled one. Smith & Wesson brought the M&P FPC 22 to market in the summer of 2025 as the rimfire version of its FPC folding carbine. It folds in half for transport and storage, which is the whole point of the FPC line. The barrel is threaded, so it is ready for a suppressor where your state allows one. The forend carries M-LOK slots down its length and a Picatinny rail on top for an optic. It ships with three 20 round magazines.
TFB also calls out two details that separate it from a bargain rimfire: a flat-face trigger and a set of switchable palm swell inserts so the grip can be fitted to the shooter's hand. The writer's point is that this is a real FPC in .22 LR, not a plinker built to ride a trend. The flip side, and the reason the rebate matters, is that it costs more than most rimfire rifles.
What it means for buyers
If the FPC 22 was already on your list, the next two months are the time to buy. The rebate is a fixed amount back on a gun whose price is already set, so it works like a straight discount with a bit of paperwork.
Two things to read before you order. First, Smith & Wesson's terms say that for online orders, both the order and the dealer pickup have to fall inside the October 16 to December 31 window. Order on December 30 and you will not make it. Second, the 10 round compliant model is on the list for a reason: buyers in states with a magazine cap can still take part. Check your state and local rules on our state restrictions page before you pick a version.
What to do
We stock both standalone versions. The M&P FPC 22 with the 20 round magazine is the standard rifle with the 16.25 inch threaded barrel. The 10 round M&P FPC 22 is the same rifle with the compliant magazine. Both ship to the licensed dealer you choose at checkout, and your dealer runs the background check at pickup.

Keep the dated sales receipt from your dealer and the box, because Smith & Wesson wants a photo of the full box label with the claim. Claims are filed online at swrebates.com and are due by January 31, 2027. Our rebate page has the step by step.
If you are buying the 20 round rifle, a spare factory magazine is worth adding to the same order. The Smith & Wesson M&P 22X/FPC 22 LR 20 round magazine fits the FPC 22 and ships with the rest of your accessories, no dealer needed.
