What the promotion is
Buy a new Barrett MRAD rifle system between November 1 and December 31, 2026 and Barrett sends you a free barrel conversion kit in the caliber you pick. If you would rather build your own, you can choose a barrel maker kit instead. It is a gift with purchase, not a discount at checkout: you register the rifle with Barrett after the sale.

Who qualifies
Four rifle systems count: the MRAD, the MRAD MK 22, the MRAD Covert and the MRADELR. The rifle has to be new and bought from an authorized Barrett FFL dealer in the United States inside the window. You must be a lawful end user and a US resident. Used rifles do not qualify, and neither do law enforcement, military, agency, distributor or demo purchases unless Barrett approves them in writing first.
Only purchases from available inventory qualify. Rain checks, backorders and pre-orders do not count, so the rifle has to be in stock when you buy it. One kit per qualifying rifle.
Which barrel kits you can pick
Barrett lists these kit calibers: 338 Lapua Magnum 26 inch, 338 Norma Magnum 26 inch, 300 Norma Magnum 26 inch, 300 PRC 26 inch, 7mm PRC 26 inch, 300 Winchester Magnum 26 inch, 7.62x51 NATO 20 inch, 308 Win 17 or 24 inch, 6.5 Creedmoor 17 or 24 inch, 416 Barrett 30 inch and 375 EnABELR 30 inch. Kit availability and caliber compatibility vary by model, so check Barrett's page for your rifle before you count on a specific caliber.
Dates to know
- Buy between November 1 and December 31, 2026.
- Register the rifle online by January 31, 2027.
- Barrett reviews each claim and contacts you about shipping.
How to claim
Claims are online only.
- Buy a qualifying new MRAD and pick it up at your dealer.
- Keep the printed receipt or invoice. It has to show the purchase date and the dealer's name and location. Handwritten receipts are not accepted.
- Write down the rifle's serial number and take a photo of it. Barrett asks for both, plus the rifle description and your address and contact information.
- Go to Barrett's free barrel kit page, fill in the form, upload your files as JPG, PNG or PDF up to 4 MB each, and choose a barrel conversion kit or a barrel maker kit. The full terms are on Barrett's terms page.
- Submit by January 31, 2027.
The kit cannot be exchanged for cash or credit and cannot be combined with other offers. Barrett may change or end the offer without notice.
The MRADs we stock
We have 30 qualifying Barrett rifles in stock as of November 4. The core MRAD line is here in the big magnums: the MRAD in .338 Lapua Magnum with a 26 inch barrel and Flat Dark Earth folding stock, the MRAD in .338 Norma Magnum with a 26 inch fluted barrel in FDE or Tungsten Grey, and 300 Norma Magnum MRADs in Tungsten Gray. For a shorter cartridge, the MRAD in 300 Win Mag with a 24 inch barrel comes in Flat Dark Earth with the folding, adjustable stock.
