Blackhawk Rail Mounted Thumb Rest OD Green

A thumb rest that clamps to a Picatinny rail and gives the support hand a fixed point to press against. Loading the thumb into a rest rather than wrapping it over the handguard steadies the rifle, keeps hand position identical from shot to shot, and gives you something to drive against when the gun tries to climb.

It mounts in either orientation, so it can sit high for a thumb over bore hold or low for a more traditional grip, and it doubles as an index when you are working off a barricade. Blackhawk molds it from fiberglass reinforced polymer in olive drab, so it adds very little weight out front. This is a thumb rest, not a vertical grip.
