Bergara Premier 6mm GT 26" Stainless Barreled Action

This is a Bergara Premier barreled action chambered in 6mm GT, the short, efficient 6mm cartridge that has taken over a lot of PRS and practical rifle matches. The 26" barrel is 416 stainless steel in the heavy No. 7 contour, the same profile Bergara puts on its competition rifles, so it soaks up heat and stays steady through long strings of fire. Twist is 1:7.5 to handle the long, heavy 6mm match bullets the GT was built around. The muzzle is threaded 5/8-24 and comes with a thread protector, ready for a brake or a suppressor.

The Premier action is the backbone. It has an enlarged bolt handle, a spiral fluted bolt body, a dual ejector and a sliding plate extractor. It is made to drop into most Remington 700 style stocks and chassis, and it takes Remington 700 style scope bases with 8-40 screws. The finish is raw stainless. At about 7.7 lbs for the barreled action, this is a solid starting point for a custom match build or for rebarreling a chassis rifle you already own.
