Bergara B-14 Wilderness HMR 22 Creedmoor 20" 5rd Gray Rifle

The B-14 Wilderness HMR is Bergara's answer to a rifle that has to shoot like a target gun and live outdoors. A mini chassis is molded into the stock, so the action beds to that chassis instead of resting on bare synthetic, and the barrel free floats from there. The stock is hand painted camouflage with black webbing for texture and grip, the barrel and receiver wear Sniper Gray Cerakote, and the whole rifle is set up to survive weather that would ruin a wood stocked gun.

The barrel is 20" and threaded, chambered in 22 Creedmoor and fed by a 5 round AICS pattern detachable magazine. 22 Creedmoor pushes heavy 22 caliber bullets fast with very little recoil, which makes it a serious varmint and predator round and an easy one to spot your own hits with. The rest of the build follows: a fluted bolt, Bergara's Performance trigger, an Omni muzzle brake, a receiver drilled and tapped for Remington 700 pattern bases, and an adjustable cheek piece so the comb height matches whatever optic goes on top. The steel receiver keeps everything square. This is a backcountry rifle that happens to shoot small groups rather than a bench gun someone dragged outside.
